For this Extra Life Commander night, your event entry also doubles as your donation. That means 100% of the money from your entry goes toward the fundraiser for Extra Life benefiting the IWK.

When you register, you’ll pick your donation tier from the dropdown:

• Standard Plus Plus – $15

• Baller – $25

• God Tier – $50

• Exalted Donation Overlord – $100

No matter which level you choose, each SKU gets you one entry to the event. So you’re still getting the same Commander night, same casual nonsense, same chance at promos/random giveaways — just with the option to go bigger if you want to flex your generosity like a true cardboard hero.

Extra Life is a gaming fundraising program that brings together players, streamers, and supporters to raise vital funds for the Children’s Miracle Network and benefit hospitals across the country, including right here at the IWK.  

Participants can stream, play board games, and bring communities together to raise awareness and support for Maritime patients and families. This April you can fundraise online or take part in local Extra Life Tabletop weekend events happening April 10-12.

Experience one of the best was to play casual Magic: Commander! Commander is a topsy turvy place where bad rares are king and the wackier the better.

This is a casual / new player friendly event so the focus is on fun and meeting new people! In each round we'll pair you in a group of 3-4 players and you'll have an hour to play your craziest cards. When times up the game ends and we'll pair you with a new group!

It's a great way to meet new players and see new decks/ideas to take back to your regular playgroup!
